HDD problem

i ave a samsung and i just reformatted it and took an older one out i have it on the same ide as my cd drive worked fine then now when i boot i get this
_and it just goes all the way down the screen blinking then just blinks have no clue what to doplease help

make sure the appropriate jumpers are set to slave and master

well since i bought it oem i dont have the paper that usualy come with it so could u tell what pins mean what?
starting from the left side next to ide input ribbon

Try looking on the hard drive manufacturers website. Also usually the jumper settings are labelled on the top of the drive.

yea dude i set the jumpers right and still same thing. i went into my bios and everything looked aight but the hdd i had in there was sata and now i have this ide in there if that helps at all

is your primary boot device set to hdd in the bios?

yes it is and too make sure i will select my boot device as the hdd
