hey im going to build my first system hopefully starting 2moro...
this is the gear i was gonna buy:

AMD Athlon 64 2800+ CPU Retail Socket 754
Gigabyte GA-K8VM800M S754 Motherboard
512MB DDR PC3200 RAM
80GB Seagate 7200rpm HDD
GeCube 128M Radeon 9550L AGP Video Card

all i wanted it for is watchin dvds, n playing a few games...

wat do you guys think?? ohh n im going to put it 2gther myself does n e 1 knw n e good sites that show how to..

Well if you have all the correct bits, putting together a computer is very simple. I learnt by just looking inside my current one. Took about 20 minutes to figure out what everything was and thats me sorted for any computer I want to build. Also its worth checking that all your components do work together and all fit onto the motherboard. Look at their individual specs for that information.
