ive downloaded the iso from MS but it wants to do a full reinstall including format. can i avoid this or not?

I got the cdkey they gave me but the ****ing installer says its an invallid key. Anyways the X64 is backwards compat, only problem is, older games like Starcraft and its expansion use a 16bit program for connections i think.

Ok, I've run into some issues...like Zone Alarm won't install...had to install ezTrust and that's a bit iffy! But so far everything else has installed that I've tried. I haven't tried some of my older programs yet. Liz

Dont think so... Stupid question, but what does Dual Boot mean? lol

Dual boot is basically running two or more operating systems on a single machine. During bootup, you are prompted to select which OS to boot from.

Pretty much ideal for people who need both Windows and Linux for different things, but it can work with any OS pretty much.

Anyways, I'm downloading it right now, I'll have my hardware possibly in a week so I'll try it out then.

i guess that makes sense.... I would be realy happy if i had a gig of Hyper X ram for my system, but i cant afford crap now
