6800 ultra or Gt

I know the 6800 ultra is an excelent card but I have heard about overclocking cards. Now, can either be overclocked or just the 6800GT? If only the GT can be overclocked will it be better than the ultra?

The gt can be overclocked further than the ultra speeds. The ultra is not as good at overclocking.

So save the money and overclock the GT.

On paper the 6800 GT and Ultra are virtually the same card, the only noticable difference being the core clock and memory speeds. But, as Trifid said certain GT's can indeed be overclocked beyond Ultra speeds. Some manufacturers overclock their GT's from stock (eg BFG).
