ive been debating for the past couple of days on what i want to do... i need a case, so i picked this one http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProdu...ufactory=BROWSE

now my concern is about the power supply, i have heard it is terrible. now would it really be that much of a problem to keep it, since my current one runs pretty well and it isnt as good..

or should i get this case http://www.xoxide.com/demonx-ii-case.html (which looks the same, but has less fans and no psu) and i can add something like this http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...-153-006&DEPA=1 for cheaper then the raidmax case...

would this be a smart idea? could the raidmax psu hold up ok for awhile, or should i go with the second setup and buy that thermaltake psu? please help thanks

yea but as you can see im on a budget...so will the raidmax case i first listed be fine?

It all depends on what's going into the case.

Notice the marketing hype on that case. First it's a "gaming case". I'm still trying to decide what makes a gaming case any different from a CAD case or a video editing case or a desktop publishing case. They are definitely trying to reach a specific market with the plexiglass side and five more fans than you actually need. Don't buy the hype or or the extra fans unless you need them.

If you are on a budget, save your money for hardware. I'll take another stick of ram and a $30 case over that monstrosity any day.

If your going gaming you might want a diffrent power supply, if i where you though dont waste you money on that case, you can probably get like a plain grey bare bone case for like 30 bucks from some one on here. Things like that are made to look really pretty, and if its a gaming PC what are you gonna spend your time looking at the case that great but does not provide enough power or Doom 3 playing at full specs raking in a nice 60+ frame per second.

well how about my second option??? the case is almost identical and its only 30 dollars, except with not as many fans....and i can get that thermaaltake psu with it for pretty much the same price of the raidmax case...does that sound better?
