After doing some reaseach , if anybody cares, i have tracked this down. As i didnt find ANY other references to this on the internet, i thought i would share. These are apparently related to Veritas MyCD. Seems they are temp files for disc to disc copy or audio cd compilations.

Maybe that MyCD thing crashed and left the temp file. I don't think any download will create a temp file in C:\ You can probably find out where that program creates the temp files. Under options or pref or something. If that happened to me, I would delete it instantly, but that's just me.
