Ive never built a computer....would this be a good setup for gaming?

Very good, you've done your homework. You'll have to tell me how the thermaltake armor case is. Im going to be building a system for a family member and Im thinking on using that case.
 
I'd suggest different RAM than kingston Hyperx

OCZ Platinum Rev2
PQI Turbos
G.Skill
Patriot XBL series
and last but not least Corsair XMS

Those top 4 are really good OC'ing chips too
 
Yes of course, like 'gaara' mentioned very decent you should have no probs with moderate gaming and should be a fun OCer. ;)
 
"nubius corsair memory is good 2" thats why I said last but not least.

They aren't that great for overclocking compared to the other brands I listed...hence me saying what I had. I never said they were bad RAM but they surely aren't near the best for OC'ing whereas the others can hit quite high FSBs

Fa Shizzle...I'd bet you'll be able to play the latest and greatest games at high settings a year or two from now with that setup.
