All i see is socket 939 mobos. Those mobos are just fine. DiabloII, if your looking for a mobo, ask us to help you. Once you order something, theirs no really going back. Stay with socket 939, they are better then 754.

ok thx a lot

here's my situation: i'm going to use this comp for mostly gaming (cs:s, farcry, maybe doom3) and word processing
i want a reliable board that has a decent performance (decent=won't make my performance in games bad), but i also want to save money

i'm going to use a winchester 3200+ and either an AGP or a PCI-e nVIDIA 6600gt (haven't decided brand)

another note, i won't be OCing

here are the boards that i'm considering (i'm not going to buy from newegg, this is just a reference)

there's also this board, but it costs a LOT more (from where i'm buying it):

however, if it's performance is significantly better than the rest, i'll buy it

this one is cheap, is sock 939, AND has pci-e; if i buy it, will it have problems(keep in mind i won't be ocing, so i guess the 800fsb won't matter?)
