36GB Raptor as the primary drive

Hey guys. If I install a Raptor 36 GB drive just for the windows XP install and virtual memory (and other extraneous apps), how much of a performance different will I notice?

Is the 100 bucks I have to spend justified?. My big drive will be a SATA NCQ 7200 rpm.

If you got dual 36G Raptors running on raid0, then your going to see a mad increase.

RAID is such a pain IMO

But yeah those 10K drives are nice. I setup an AMD64 system using 2 of them, not in RAID though just one primary one backup and the winXP install took like-20 mins or so, really fast.

Loading times on games, copying files, windows loading, is all sped up, but I haven't been able to convince myself to get one seeing as how you can spend $40 less and get 80gb
