D DJ-CHRIS Golden Master Messages 8,010 Feb 19, 2005 #4 I doubt the HP mobo will support anything much better. Newer p4's have a different FSB, so a 3.0ghz p4 may only do 1.4 ghz or something on your mobo. Than you replace your mobo to support the new processor. Than you replace your aging ram.
