gaming would be fine
if you answer gaming, get amd

and for amd 4000+, thats like over doing it already, don't need to OC it

see man i know that but i want to be ready for 64 bit applications...?thats the only reason im getting amd becouse the new 64 bit intels are going to be ovre priced when are realsed..i heard they are going to realse them by the end of the month ....im not sure though....what do you mean by over doing it ..is that 2 much....

People say 'Intel for modeling' but that's rubbish considering that thing is roughly equivelant to a 4GHz intel which doesn't even exist. Beyond that if you plan on overclocking your system will have no problems handling whatever you throw at it

That is all I can advise for now, I'll edit this post later with more, but I am in a hurry. The PCI express will let you upgrade to SLI later if you please, but the AGP version is still insane. Here are your totals so far, and you can see you will need a bit more $$$ for the SLI (Don't listen to these people when they say go to 6600gt for SLI, you will wish you had 6800gt very quickly...):::
