okay..keep checking newegg daily..they have good sales sometimes..
EDIT:
are u sure u checked everything about compatibility??

I've been doing it for the past two weeks everyday ;-) hehe
How long does it take for newegg to ship(to NY)? 3-4 days? longer?

I'm not 100% sure with the RAM but PCU should be compatible with the mobo i have right now cuz its a p4(just like the 1 i have right now) and they didn'y say anything on newegg so I guess it should be ok.

And I also heard that the Prescott CPUs are great when it comes to O/C.

I am not an expert. But based on the fact that they are one of the if not the top heat producing processers on the market, they are probably not one of the best to OC. Granted, they may be great elsewise, but you'll need to invest in a pretty insane HSF.

they are high temps but overclocking doesnt affect the temp as much, theres more resistance.... and with that kinda ram ur getting ull have great overclocking sucess

I'm planing to OC it slightly because its fast as it is(3.0GHz). And you think there won't be a problem with compatibility (ram+mobo)? I'd be grateful if anyone could help me out here. Thanks.

ur mobo specs:
Supports socket 478 Pentium® 4 processors up to 2.4GHz and beyond
Intel® 850 memory controller chipset with ICH2
400MHz Front Side Bus Support
4 RIMM Sockets for up to 2GB memory PC800/PC600 RDRAM
AGP 4X/Pro Slot
Dual Channel IDE ATA100/66/33 Support
4 USB Ports, 5 PCI Slots / 1 CNR Slot
Infrared Connection
Wake-On-Ring, Wake-On-LAN
PC Health Monitoring ASIC
2Mb Flash EEPROM AwardO BIOS
ATX form factor

cpu should be fine...check with what memory u currently have
