I'm trying to quiet down my computer.
I have an old 18 or 20 gigabyte Seagate Cheetah 15,000 RPM SCSI hard drive.
I've always assumed it's important to keep a fast hard drive very cool.
However, the 3-fan cooling bay
(here's a link to something similiar to what I have: http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/3fanhadrcoki.html/ )
that I use is too noisy.
Is it so important to use a cooling bay at all? What other (less noisy) options do I have to cool my hard drive?
