Installing Windows on a new System.

Hello, I just built a new PC and finally got it running. But now I can't seem to get the PC to boot from the ROM so I can get Windows XP on my PC. I went into BIOS and chaged it so it booted 1st from the ROM, but the PC just still boots up and goes into BIOS or RAID controller, or just tells me that the boot disk failed and to enter CD and hit enter. I'm lost on what to try now. Anyone have any suggestions?

Set boot to DVD or CD ROM first - save settings in BIOS
Then restart - pop windows in and windows setup will start

I have that all done, and stuff. But now when Windows loads it can't continue because it isn't recognizing a HDD.

Does it say "missing NTDLR" or something like that?
