I have an older computer with an athlon kmd processor which had win 98 installed on it. I want to install win 2000 prof on it. The hard drive was formatted, so theres nothing on it. When I try to boot the computer with w2000 prof boot disks I get an I/O error. Interestingly it will boot with windows ME boot disks fine. My guess is that its a fat 32 and ntsc(whatever it is) issue.
Anyone know what to do?

If you have access to them or can get them, use the windows 2k floppy boot disks-- there are 4 in a set. See if you can get started that way.
