What do you all think of an Opteron setup?

Wouldn't dual opterons be like having 2 Athlon 64's?

Does a 2.4GHz Opteron perform like a 2.4GHz P4 or Athlon 64 3800+ ?

Are there any dual opteron mobos that take non-ecc ram?

a 2.4ghz opteron would perform better than a 2.4ghz p4, it would perform like a high end athlon 64. Im not sure about the ram though, check Tyan's website for good dual motherboards.
