Hey guys. What's a good socket 775 CPU fan. I don't mean the absolute best - since I probably can't afford it. I mean the best bang for the buck so to speak. Well, obviously it has to perform better than the Intel's stock cooling - since I already have that straight from the box!.. Thx..

Just use the Stock Fan that came with it. I saw a video on tom's hardware that said the best air cooling is the stock heatsink. Since it has the thermal tape and the enhanced copper core. Im using the stock heatsink and I run at about 45idle and 58c full load.

Also the prescotts run hot as it is.

I have heard alot about socket heatsink working better for 775. But i know for a fact that the tornado is hella better then the stock cpu fan. I think that if you dont get the best heatsink/cpu fan, then the stock will work better. But if you do run for the best heatsink/cpu fan, then it will work better.
