Hey, I've been stuck with a 20gb and a 2gb for months now, i finally got a 40gb, and when i replaced the 2gb on ide1 slave, i get Inaccessible Boot Device and a BSOD on boot, it has happened before, and i havent been able to resolve it, the 40gb works on ide2 when i remove my burner and stick the hdd on slave, any help would be much appreciated :)

Check the jumper settings first. if its first boot set it as master and second boot to slave.

If that doesn't work, set the new one to "cable select" and see if your bios picks it up.

Ive Tried it all, its nothing to do with jumper settings coz Win2K begins to boot, and ive been thru my BIOS, looked at it all
