CPU mystery

I have the amd 3400+ 64 bit socket 939. I had it running fine and it worked great. I then bought a new case and moved everything into it. No when I try to do multiply things at once the cpu usages get very high. For example I can be listening to a song,(legally) and ripping a cd(my very own cd I bought) and then the song with start to skip because of the very high cpu usage. Like 75-80 and thats all im doing. The usage during idle is between 0-8. Could it be because I moved the hard drive out of my old case and put in this one without a fresh install. No Idea what is going wrong, need help tho.

Ripping a song and listening to a song at the same time killl your computer, expisally if their both on a CD.

Congrads on your CPU, what temps you getting? It's the same as mine, except i overclocked to 3800 speeds and I am 27 degreees idle

It probally has nothing to doing with moving it. You should run a spyware/ad-ware program if that don't work try re-installing winodws.
