Firefox Profiles

I was just using firefox and it went all slow and looked as if it was going to crash so i closed it down. When i loaded it back up again i had to choose a profile to use, and i couldnt choose the one i was using before because it wa in use. So i choose another one and now all my favourites that were on the other profile are not there.

How do i log out of one profile and log back into another ?

I can find how to do it anywhere
