Computer Speaker Questions...

Ok, so does anyone know of any card I can buy to get 5.1 channels of surround to my reciever, without kinda ghetto-rigging it.

Doesn't your receiver have dd and dts decoding? If you have been using it as a surround receiver it probably does. Most dvd players just have passthrough as well, its the receiver/processor that does the decoding.

Well, my reciever RIGHT NOW only has Dolby Pro Logic I, so NO digital, however I plan on upgrading soon as I am already out of inputs.

But this is my question:

With the M-Audio sound card, if I just plug the two-jack RCA output into my two-jack RCA input on the reciever, will I be able to switch between stero and surround sound, or will it ONLY be capable of playing stero? (I realize sound will come out of all the speakers, but would it still have the seperate signals that would be needed with movies/gaming?)
