Bought a GIGABYTE "GA-8IPE775-G" i865PE, and the new Intel processor with the LGA 775 socket. At first it over heated, but that was because the heatsink wasn't sitting on it properly. Then the power supply died, then the south bridge was fried. i just got a new mobo after i replaced the old one. But now it won't power on with the new psu that i had to buy? Anybody have any suggestions? i tried a 20 pin atx, i tried it with the 24 pin converter and i tried it with and without the 4 pin next to the processor. NEED HELP!

In my industry ( PC tech/ and custom pc builder, soon to be CISCO cert) you have just seriousley "F" 'ed up, and spent what 760 dollers?

No, the mobo turned off because of the temp warning, so the CPU is fine, we tried another PSU and it didn't work, so, i'm out of ideas.
