after build questions

hiya guys,
just wanted to post a couple of questions i still got about my pc,
1) how's 37*c idle for an athlon 64 3500+?
2)is there a huge diff between 3-3-3-8 and 2.5-3-3-6 mem. latencys?
3) does it make a difference if you use the 4 pin legacy power for a SATA hd or is it better to use SATA power?

and 4) when i first started building this, who the hell told me to get a Xaser V case?! it's so freaking heavy!

37 isnt that bad, but my .13 micron 3400+ (same speed as yours, actually a little little bit faster) idles down 27 and stress under 40, that's overclocked to a 3800 too

how the hell did you get ur 3400 to 27. my sempron 2500 idles at 38, and loads at 45 peak.

Well it's 19 in my room so that helps.

Funny thing is I am also using cheap cheap thermal paste as well, as well as a venus 12 for cooling.

But unfortunetly, i have the coolest running 3400+ ever made, but i cant get stable past 2.45 ghz really, i get a driver error?

well, im not exactly sure, cause my hardcano sensor strapped to heatsink right next to cpu sez 27.3c but asusprobe says 37c under load it maxes out at about 41.6 though... ? odd i thought it would go up more, either way... lol (btw i have the venus12 also)
does anyone know about the mem latencys tho?

thats pretty good. my pentium 4 3.0ghz is around 70 with stock cooling
