Its a lot of graphical overhaul is what it sounds like.
IMHO, I don't understand the practicality of it in a Corporate environment, but that's just me.
Gamers,graphics, and the movie industry would probably benefit the most. I can't see an accounting firm using these enhancements near as much.
Only time will tell what this new "Shiny graphics and pretty pictures" will bring.

the beta wasn't cool at all
The final release is all ready behind 1 year and it will be crap like XP Pro was before SP1
Don't buy it until the patches come out for it.
Microsoft has a history of putting OS's out and having the public complain about them, so they don'y have to debug everything themselves!
