Ive got a case, power supply, ram, floppy drive and some fans.

About to order a cpu, hard drive and cd-rw.

Then all that is left is the gfx card right ?

Also, is it essential to get some artic silver stuff or similar ?

Thermal paste can only be used with an aftermarket heatsink, so if you plan on using the stock heatsink, it will instead use a thermal pad which is included with it.

Yeah but you can get the thermal pad off( it sux) and then just put some arctic silver stuff.

Just scrape it off with a razor then clean with alchohol (rubbing, no doubt)..

ok i will leave out the thermal paste as im getting a retail CPU with heatsink/fan.
