Tired of waiting for ati

i am currently on the market for a video card for my new comp, and decided that the x800 XL was the best bang for your buck at 299, although i cant seem to find and x800 XL for less than 400, but regardless i wanted to try ati after being a nvidia user for awhile. but ati just cant seem to get their act together with these new cards, they either take forever to come out or just never come out in suffiecent quantitiy. i contacted ati about the XL and they first said that i could preorder one from them for 299 plus a 10% discount, well i called back a day or two later and they now say they are not taking preorders and the card MAY be out for the end of february. i decided i am gonna spend the extra cash and go for the evga 6800 gt pci-e. i figure at least now i can use the comp i built and if i decide to to sli later i can.

Yea, just go with an nVidia 6800 GT or Ultra, you won't regret it

yea i couldnt wait for my 6600gt to come,waiting by the mailbox in seach of a fedex truck. after 2 days it finally came.

just get a GeForce 6600GT. i went from ati to nvidia and i've never looked back.

I just went from ATI to nvidia, and im not really looking back either.
