hey first off i know basically nothing of raid setups other than the fact that it takes 2 harddrives and sandwitches them to think like one thus boosting the speed to twice as much, if RAID 0 that is.. now
im gonna buy 2 SATA WD raptor drives 36gb ..or maybe 74, and im not sure waht to do, now there are 2 options .. to raid them .. and have 1 HDd or to not raid them and have 1 dedicated for XP and other to run software and virtual memory/pagefile. Which is faster?!
this PC is strictly for games and im not sure which will give me better performance in gaming.. since its obvious that if i raid them ill have only one HD running both software and OS + pagefile on it...
any ideas ?

P.S. and yes im aware of the fact that if one Hd fails in raid both basically fail, but since its for games only ....
