so then basically it is not worth it because its a pretty good waste of money. instead of buying 2 cpus and mobo try just upgrading the stuff you have now with that money

Yeah, MSI has a server board that has a maximum of 24gb of ram in it! That's just crazy lol

I would agree that a dual cpu setup should be left in a server environment.

It's got the CPUs I just need to get fans on the heatsinks, put paste on the CPUs, throw in a stick of RAM and see how she runs.

I figure I may use it for server purposes and experimentation or something
