W Win2kpatcher Fully Optimized Messages 2,171 Feb 3, 2005 #13 I would agree that a dual cpu setup should be left in a server environment.
OP OP W waynejkruse10 Fully Optimized Messages 3,782 Feb 3, 2005 #14 ok then, it was just an idea. but i want to tell you, i already have the cpu's, i just need a mobo.
Nubius Golden Master Messages 11,599 Feb 3, 2005 #15 Well likes been said, if you can find one for cheap then by all means do it. I actually have a dual CPU board thanks to my good buddy Jak http://www.amdboard.com/tyandual2466.html It's got the CPUs I just need to get fans on the heatsinks, put paste on the CPUs, throw in a stick of RAM and see how she runs. I figure I may use it for server purposes and experimentation or something
