Okay, when I'm on a site with a flashing gif image (an ad or soemone's logo here in the TF), and it's really driving me nuts, I try to stop it. However, there's a problem.

In IE, I just click on stop, and the gif stops refreshing.

If I hit stop in Firefox...it doesn't stop the gif.

This is extremely annoying. Does Firefox have a way to stop a page? :(:(:(:(

Okay, the esc key worked. I still want to know the logic behind that: Why the esc key stops everything but the stop button doesn't. Sounds like a bug to me. :(

lol i have the same problem with mine too yea thats kinda stupid and annoying. the stop button doesnt exsist when the page is loaded and right clicking the icon doesnt give u any options to do anything
