WinXp cannot recognize my NTFS 200gb HD

is there any other way so that WinXp can recognize HD bigger than 128GB? - i ask this because if i install the service pack 2 - i have to reactivate my Win Xp , and i lots my key...

Get X-Setup (www.x-setup.com) and look for the option to enable 48bit LBA support.

look, regardless, you can get sp2, i don't care what the origins of your xp is. Just look hard enough and you will figure it out.

After i install X-Setup and enable the 48bit LBA, then in boot screen said checksum error , press F1 to restart . then in the Window , i cant even see my new HD --ahhh, i gona scream!!!

Pls Help - this goddamn HD not gona work ....

Last question , will Win 2000 with serivece pack 4 enable the 48bit LAB ?

You need SP3 or SP4 for Windows2000
