I guess I'm not mis-informed. Didn't clear up anything for me, lol.

-LCD's cost a TON more if you want the same (or near) performance as a CRT.

-LCDs are coming down in price and up in quality...still not enough in either aspect for my liking.

Well, I guess it reinforced what I knew anyway. Unless I can't fit a 19" CRT in my dorm, I won't be going with LCD for at least 5 more years, assuming my CRT doesn't fry...They should be pretty good/cheap by then. Actually, hopefully OLED (Organic LED) monitors will be out by then.
