I think i have a system memory problem

I have 1 antivirus program running,1 firewall program and 1 other program running, I dont understand why it seems to be taking up so much of my resources with my memory. can some take a look at these pics and give me some recomendations. thanks

Which programs tho, it depends on WHICH a/v, etc. Do me a favor and take a screen shot of your task manager system processes while running. Liz

Well, the one other program you have running IS a hog when it comes to resources. Liz

Go to start, run, type msconfig, go to the startup tab, click disable all, but leave your antivirus on and you should see a big difference.

Look for one your page file is way to high it should not be more than 1.5 times the memory

I like mine from 128-384 MB

You have alot of programs running they need to removed from the startup folder

START>>RUN type MSCONFIG go to startup and uncheck the boxes that you don't need

This is a good web site and if your item is not on the list then you probally don't need it
