What 9800 pro are you going for? They are just expensive as the 6600GT so why aren't you considering that an option?

Aright, duh...how about clicking the link Nubius, lol, Anyway, Sapphire isn't that great of a company so I would question the quality with that card being its the absolute cheapest of the 9800Pros, so it's better to pay about $20 more and get way better quality and good performance. When these new games start comin in the 9800pro will be left in the dark, but ultimately it's up to you/him

Oh....ok, well, I didn't know that the 6600 was so cheap (or is that cheap?). Okey dokey, now the only thing I need is a socket 939 mobo and a case (But I'll take care of the case.) Hmmmm...

I went with the Abit AV8 3rd eye motherboard, and would recomend it to anyone going for socket 939.

Nubius, is that EVGA 6600GT really memory clocker at 900 mhz? I know 900mhz is the nvidia refrence, but most other cards are clocked at 1000

I have it, but they ship with a better heatsink now. I got one of the first 6600GT's in Canada

go with 128mb radeon 9800 pro, the 256mb is too much and makes video card slower!
