RAM reccomendations

im looking to buy a gig of RAM almost strictly for gaming to stick in a P4 3.0E with a 128mb 9800 pro. anyone have any good reccomendations? price doesnt really matter too much, but i dont want it to be outrageous.

Well if you don't plan on overclocking the RAM you really don't need any high performace RAM although people will want to suggest it.

Truth is there's not a huge difference in bandwidth between high performance and ValueRAM, but the performance can just be OC'd higher on most occasions.

I suggest:

Corsair
Mushkin
Patriot
PQI

Any of those companies will offer good RAM sticks for the money.

All of them also make good high performance RAM if you want to go that route regardless
