I went to alienware.com and tryed to leach out as much info as i can and the maximum graphic memory was 128MB Quote:
PCI-Express x16 NVIDIA or ATI high-performance graphics
Up to 128MB DDR dedicated video memory
DVI, VGA, and S-Video outputs with dual-display support*
Full DirectX® 9.0 and OpenGL® 2.0 graphics compatibility
does this mean i cant use higher grade cards like the 6800gt
um. odd. did you choose any of the options for a card? that's probably the cards they have to offer when you customize a computer there. if you have a 16x PCI-e slot, you can use any PCI-e card, as high end as you want it to be. make sure it's PCI-e and NOT regular PCI, they will not work together at all.

do you currently have a card in your comp at this time or are you using the onboard graphics?

how can i find out for sure?

It comes in both versions. If you have a PCI-E slot, buy the PCI-E version and if you have an AGP slot, buy the AGP version. :)..

6600 GT is a great card for the $$..
