People (not on this forum) have been telling me that if i overclock then my parts like cpu memory grfx card all that suff will stop working sooner but as im running my comp at stock vcore while overclocked is that the case? cos if it were that would mean that an athalon 3800 would wear out faster than a 3000?

hope answering this isn't to much of a drag .thnx

Nah, heat is what shortens the lifespan of your components not overclocking. There are things such as electromigration but it takes quite a while for that to ever happen and being that no one has a electron microscope to see if electro migration occured, no one really knows why things die.

Keep it cool and it'll keep livin.

Yep, its just what comes with OC, "Heat". But if you can defend yourself from heat, then you have nothing to worry about.

o yea and btw at the moment i have no heat probs cos im running stock vcore with my oc
