scanner problem

I just reinstalled my HP psc 1210 scanner/copier/printer and now it says that my scanner isn't connected.

The printer works just fine, so I don't see how it couldn't be connected.

It's scanner/copier/printer all in one and it says the printer is connected but not the scanner?

Don't suppose they'd have seperate drivers would they?

Well I have installed it from the cd it came with it a couple of times, and it installed everything every time before.

It says there was an error communicating with the device.

Hmm...indeed very odd.....

Ya know I honestly couldn't tell ya whats going on. It's quite perplexing that it'd communicate with the printer, but not the scanner.....

I mean the only thing that would cause that would be like a weird connection issue going to power the scanner, or that sends data from the scanner.

Sry man, I'm stumped =/
