xp will not install somthing faulty

512 ddr3200 matrix memmory
400 watt sumvision power suppley
256 mg peak radion 9550 agp
samsung dvd re
windows xp
can any body please help built my system 2 month ago all worked well 4 2 month then it packed up it will not let me reinstall xp it keeps struggling to copy files at diferent points ive tried new memmery no good
new pci graphics card no good either
wonder if its my processer or power suppley
any help would be greatfully accepted
my hair is getting thin with all the pulling

Probolly a faulty, scratched CD.

When i slipstreamed windows, i had the same problem. It was a bad cd burn.

Than i slipstreamted perfectly, and my windows XP SP2 slipstreamed CD dissipeared :/

Lower the RAM to 333 Mhz for the installation.

The CD of Win Xp.... Is it a "backup copy" of your orginal Win Xp CD?

I have found that the "backup copy" of your original Win Xp CD normally give you 4 to 8 installs (or about 3 to 6) before the some files start corrupting.
