mom have you tried underclocking your system front side bus FSB or reduce the CPU multiplier? but I have some feeling you have a bad motherboard. Can you send it back for replacement or repair?

i have had this comp back to the store 3-4 times, they've checked memory, graphics card, new driver to the card and they say nothing's wrong with the comp. how's that?
I have not tried to underclock, don't even know what that is .
new drivers for the bios , no not yet , i'm not even sure how to fix that. :)
power supply 350w i think.

I just tried to re-install norton this afternoon, blue screen , lots of zeros and numbers and something about ntoskrnl.exe and then...beginning dump of physical memory...????

thanks for trying to help me with this
mom

I don't have anything helpful to say, but in my experience, computer store people have no idea what they're talking about and they just tell you that nothing's wrong to make you go away. Maybe try getting a second opinion from outside the store?
