Get Avast.com, Norton always has problems deleting stuff.

This reply is prolly a lil late, but i use AVG free Edition by Grisoft, and it works wonderfully. For spyware, i use spybot s&d. Hope this helps!

FREE goes away at the end of '05 for AVG. Just an FYI.

although i do use AVG , I also use the "Trend Micro house call" it works very well , catches alot of stuff even AVG doesnt catch , and they give detailed instructions how to remove virus's if they cant clean it themselfs.

That sucks AVG is going away from there free version , hmmm guess ill start looking for somthing else to use , I do have a copey of trendmicro's pc chillin , could always use that i guess.

This program is awesome. It has never failed me. Combine this with webroot's SpySweeper and you will have a well protected system. I have tried norton and it is an enormous resource hog. PC-Cillin is very effective and doesn't use nearly as many resources.
