I just bought an MSI 6600GT AGP off newegg and it won't work. I try to boot in windows and any command you give it, it freezes. I installed the drivers in safe mode, but still won't work. I wonder if my voltage is off, so does anybody know how many volts you need for the msi 6600 GT AGP?? thanx!!!!

have you formatted the harddrive or deleted your old drivers for the old graphics card?

Plug in the power thingy on the back of the card

I did, in fact i tried both ways like a billion times and it just won't work. Even if i take it out it will run the same. I also tried different cables, i thought it won't get power, but no luck. I uninstalled the old ATI fies and same thing happens. I also reset to default the BIOS settings but nothing seems to work.

Well there is no "both" ways, it should be notched so you can't put it in there the wrong way. If you did in fact manage to put it in there a different way, chances are you fried your card.
