Experimental PC: **edit**for lack of a "special" case

the good thing about lego is that you don't have much chance of shorting your motherboard if you put mounting screws in the wrong place
We won't be using screws. We're going to make it so the legos hold everything in place.....don't know fully if it'll work yet, buuuuut we'll let you know :p
 
Would take quite a bit of heat to actually cause it to start on fire, but still, it wouldn't be that good as for as heat goes I'd think
 
go for a cardboard box case lol i still think that would be pimp
or a suitcase (not as orignal)
or like and old printer or a speaker
 
I made a cardboard box pc when I was like 11. I might post some pics sometime. It was a old celeron 500 w/ 192mb of ram and a 6 gig hdd. It is currently a wooden-box pc now.

I plan on building a wooden case. Using some 1/2 inch oak, i dont think fire will be an issue.

Also about 12 case fans should take care of the cooling issue with wooden cases
