there's no point in upgrading to an audigy 2 unless you need more than 5.1 sound
use the money to get something else

my current comp is in my sig, this is something like what i'll *most likely* be getting:

it'll either be a setup similar to this or a laptop, still need to see which laptops are coming out in the next month and then i'll decide
