Hmmmmm I tried takeing my 6600 gt upto 530 mhz core and 1000 mhz memory , well needless to say it didnt like it when i ran a game , it will oc the memory fine but the core doesnt like it .

A shade of topic, but not worth clogging the boards with a new thread.

What program (if any, is the bios what to use) would I use to OC the eVGA 6800gt?

And what speeds should i be able to acheive while BEING STABLE!??

Thank you.

I tried a program called "powerstrip" to oc my card. I dont think theres a way to get into the gfx cards bios manually.

If you have a copper heatsink you could probably get 550 (depends on how good it is) but water cooling would get you to 590

For overclocking nvidia cards, use teh built in nvidia overclocker. It's called coolbits or nvtweak, search google for how to start using it.

Tried the nv tweak , got my card up to 571 core , 1000 memory ..Ran the cs-source stress test with no graphical artifacts , funny though , i didnt get a higher score , only time i get a higher score useing that stress test is when i oc my cpu . i guess ill try 3dmark 03 and see if theres any improvment there.
