I've read enough articles on yEnc, such as what is at www.yenc.org to know what it is and what's the positives and negatives to it.
I prefer the old system, I have cable so the download, or upload time never bothered me, ((sorry to you dialup users, been there, done that)).
Fewer corrupt files with the old system, and I could decode things.
It seems that more and more of my newsgroups are using this encoding.
But, I have yet to decode anything that used yEnc.
Does anybody know of a preferably free newsreader that will decode yEnc, without having to go through multiple steps of save to as txt, activate, decode, save, rename, etc...
Again, anybody know of a good free newsreader that automaticly handles yEnc, or at least internally to save using a second utility on things?
