why do you say "don't get SLI" if you don't even know what it's like first hand?

SLI works very well, all you have to do is set it up properly.
2 6600's in SLI are l33t for games

also hes on a tight budget

and if a 6800gt can play all games at max settings (excluding doom 3 ultra high serttngs) why buy 2?
