I can't boot into safe mode?

Well, that still won't answer my question why it won't let me into safe mode. Microsoft says a corrupt install and to either repair or reinstall. I am going to reinstall and see what happens. If it still does it they say new disc.

I did a reinstall ahhhhh and then reinstalled all software. I found out it was a software issue. Nero (InCD4) was the culprit. I had to spend a lot of time finding it but that is what caused it. I don't know why but it did. I uninstalled it and safe mode worked. I reinstalled and safe mode quit. I uninstalled and now safe mode works again. HMMMM> I don't have Nero any longer.

Hmm... yeah... I've heard quite a few people having problems with Nero. I wonder why that is...

is your OS Windows 98?
the Nero problems I've had were always in 98, since the later versions are designed more for XP
