i would opt for an antec psu because they are the best psu brand imo, only problem is they are quite expensive, about £75 for 480W

Yeah, unless he is doing some heavy OCing he can't really justify that extra money

The Nexus in my signature was my initial plan. That was planned pre-budget and now the £65 price tag is a little out of reach.

Thermaltake it is! Goes with my case lol

one problem with the TT PSU's is the low amperage on the 12v rail.
so if you have alot of drives or in my case 3 drives and alot of fans, you may want something with more on the 12v rail.

2x120mm case fans with another smaller 90mm on the window. 1xCD 1xHDD 1xFDD ATI x800 etc etc (can u look at my siggy and see if it is too much)
