Hey,

Sooooooo. When I finished building the computer and finally setting it all up. I made a dumb mistake and installed XP: Pro to my Seagate 7,200 instead of my WD 10,000. I don't have tooo many programs on my computer but there are some that I don't want to lose, or lose all the saved stuff, but that is only a few select ones. What is the easiest way or the only way and how to, to switch XP to my other drive? I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks

Just install the 10000 drive, then transfer data. You can run both, or just trash the 7200.

I think you should be able to just for simplicity sake unplug your 7200, install Windows on the 10K and then plug the other in but make sure it boots off the 10K... wait.. I'm guessing your other is an IDE right? If its an SATA youre in luck.

Thanks for the replies - my Seagate is SATA I....believe. :) . Oh ok great. I just want to do this as easly as possible, without windows thinking I have a already used Serial Key or somehow screw me over.
